Currently a consultant in Innovation and Finance, as well as an Investment Banker. He was the Vice President of Innovation at City of Knowledge, where he managed a Business Accelerator and an Investment Fund at the most important Technological and Scientific Park in Latin America. He also founded and managed Venture Club, the first angel investor group in Panama.
Before joining the City of Knowledge team, Manuel Lorenzo was an Investment Banker and Consultant, and also founded and grew his own information technology company. He currently serves on the boards of regional technology companies and participates as a speaker and consultant for multiple innovation development groups in the region.
He has managed investment and cooperation projects with international organizations in entrepreneurship, venture capital, and incubation of innovative global startups.
He has been a finance and innovation professor and speaker at prestigious universities such as Thunderbird School of Management, Tecnológico de Monterrey, and in the Global Competitiveness Leadership Program driven by Georgetown University Latin American Board and organized by Georgetown University McDonough School of Business’ Office of Executive Education.
